It's the end of an era. The Inferno Drainer has been used to steal almost $70 million since February 2023.
Inferno Drainer, one of the most famous tools for hacking crypto wallets, has shut down for good.
In a Telegram message sent on November 26, the service team said, "The time has come to move on." All of the files, servers, and infrastructure that the malware needed to run would not be deleted, though. Instead, they said they would stay online so users could "seamlessly transition" to other services.

They also said, "Thank you very much to everyone who helped us." If you ever need to make money, we hope you remember us as the best tool ever and that we helped you.
Also, they got rid of a service-providing partner Telegram account called "mr_inferno_drainer" and told people to be careful of other tools that might use their name in the future.
Early in 2023, Inferno Drainer became popular. It became even more popular after the Monkey Drainer tool went away. Like its competitors, Inferno sold software that could hack into cryptocurrency wallets and took 20% of the money that users stole.
The Web3 Scam Sniffer web site says that since February, the service has stolen almost $70 million from more than 100,000 people. That being said, the Inferno Drainer team says that more than $80 million was stolen.
CertiK, a blockchain security company, said that Inferno Drainer was "one of the most destructive phishing tools" they had ever seen.
