In addition to Chlorpromazine (Truxal), other antipsychotics will also help, for example, classic Aminazin and Haloperidol. Alcohol will also help. And benzodiazepines will help - Diazepam, Phenazepam and the like.
But you should not expect from these drugs that you were injected with aminazin and immediately the acid trip passed, immediately sobriety, clear consciousness. LSD, and those drugs don't work that way either. You will simply either replace the effects of the acid with the effects of the drug you have taken (i.e. get drunk, or relax/sleep). If you mix them up, you'll be fine lying in bed and having a lot of hallucinations, but you won't have the anxiety and risk of doing something inappropriate under the influence of a psychedelic.
NEVER take weed after psychedelics, as some suggest, if the goal is to shorten the trip. Marijuana can only deepen, intensify and continue the trip.
You need to have a trip sitter nearby. And of course it’s good if a person has already taken benzodiazepines before and knows what it is...
To be more precise, drugs such as Xanax/valium will not stop the trip, but will significantly calm the person and help him to endure it more easily.
A trip sitter is a person with trip experience, and someone who could look after you and share the emotions. Ideally a person with medical education. But if this is a good and experienced comrade, then this is already good.
For a psychonaut, benzodiazepines are like band-aids and hydrogen peroxide for an athlete or a motorist, a must-have in the medicine cabinet, and they were given to the patient to ease the trip in those days when LSD was tried to be used in psychotherapy.
