The NSA, CISA and FBI have released a new report revealing the vulnerabilities most commonly used by Chinese government hackers to attack government and critical infrastructure networks.
"The NSA, CISA, and FBI continue to rank China's government cyber activities as one of the biggest and most dangerous threats to US government and civilian networks," the statement said.
"This announcement builds on our previous reports and was created to inform federal and local, tribal and territorial governments, organizations in critical infrastructure, and private sector organizations about the trends and ongoing tactics, methods, and procedures of Chinese cybercriminals."
In addition, the published document contains recommendations for eliminating vulnerabilities used by Chinese groups, as well as various methods and technologies that should help information security teams identify and block cyber attacks.
The NSA, CISA, and FBI also urged US and allied governments, as well as critical infrastructure organizations and the private sector, to implement recommended measures to protect against Chinese-sponsored cyberattacks.
