Sodium oxybutyrate is popularly known as liquid ecstasy. It is a synthetic powdery substance of a crystalline structure, completely soluble in water and alcoholic beverages.
In medicine, this substance is used as a remedy for the treatment of neuroses or sleep disorders, general anesthesia and the treatment of various ophthalmic pathologies. When taken in high doses, sodium oxybutyrate becomes a drug.
Its minimum doses cause a feeling similar to the state of alcoholic intoxication. After using slightly higher dosages, a person falls into a state of relaxation, experiences a rise in mood, plunges into a state of euphoria. Also, oxybutyrate has the ability to cause strong sexual arousal, so young people sometimes sprinkle it on girls or use it themselves.
The trip occurs a quarter of an hour after the use of the substance. The action continues for three hours. Many see this as similar to MDMA. It is difficult to produce and nowhere to steal. Therefore, under its guise, drug dealers often sell analogues - usually BDO and a little less often GBL.
They differ from the original in a much more complex metabolism - GBL is converted to GHB in the liver. BDO does the same, but requires several times more. And most importantly - this thing is far from safe for your fragile body.
